Jules Jean-Pierre

Executive Director

Jules is a dual-licensed clinician (Marriage & Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor) and a state-qualified supervisor for both fields, also supporting Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse student interns.

With over a decade of experience in trauma and integrative mental health, she is a Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training and Certified Sound Healer.

Jules takes a holistic, relationship-focused approach to therapy, drawing from her identity as a 1st-generation Haitian-American to encourage cultural exploration and self-acceptance.

National University Student Intern

Clara Gutierrez is completing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Trauma and considered herself as a Compassion based provider. 
 
As an intern, Clara has gained experience supporting clients systematically addressing issues such as anger management, grief, couples therapy as well as unhealthy family dynamics, substance abuse, generational patterns and parenting styles. She considers the client’s context, relations and culture crucial as part of the therapeutic process
 
Clara’s therapeutic style includes a Solution-Focused approach as well as Narrative Therapy but ultimately, she believes in meeting the client where they are to see what would benefit the client’s unique context.
 
Clara grew up in Central America and if fully bilingual speaking both Spanish and English fluently.

Jacksonville University Student Intern

Emily Oddy is our practicum level student intern.  Emily is a current Jacksonville University student intern that will be facilitating therapeutic sessions with the guidance of our practice owner Jules Jean-Pierre, M.A., LMHC, LMFT-QS.

Emily is passionate about supporting the clients that she will be working with through trauma, life transitions, and anxiety.   In her studies, she will be using trauma-informed CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), existential, Feminist, narrative, and Gestalt therapies approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. Outside of counseling, Emily is an avid reader and animal lover. Shel looks forward to walking alongside her clients as they navigate their own path toward hope and transformation.
